I keep getting caught up because when I finish putting them all in their units, I end up with kg(m/s) = kg(m/s^(2)). If p is kg(m/s), wouldn't Δp have to be kg(m/s^(2))? But I know that Δp is kg(m/s) and that J = kg(m/s), but I am struggling to prove that the two equal each other.
