I also bought a new Gatorback Belt.Suggestions and headaches: 1) Find or draw a diagram showing all pulleys & belt routing. I will also clean the throttle body and mass airflow sensor because the car stalls when I start it, it’s a common issue among these cars. Should I also change the water pump because I’m pretty sure it hasn’t been changed? Any other things I should change while I’m in there???

My 2004 Pontiac serpentine belt has been squeaking for at least a year. I have had the belt replaced but it still seems you squeak. When I spray belt dressing on th ribbed part of the belt the squeak will go away for a few minutes but then comes back. Also when I start it up that's when it squeaks the loudest, but after 15 minutes of driving it gets much quieter and less frequent. Any advice would be helpful, thanks.

The old belt has 5 ribs and the new belt has 6 ribs, when i put the new one on it started squeeling so i poured water on it to see if it was the belt and it stopped squealing for a short while, i put the old belt back on and it doesn't squeal.
